Epiphany Concert!

 Dear band and orchestra students and parents,

It has been wonderful to see students and make music with them in person.

I am looking forward to next week and the new semester. 

1. Despite a very shortened rehearsal process our students did a wonderful job pulling these songs together, I am so proud of them. Enjoy a belated Christmas concert. Perhaps we could call it an Epiphany Concert.

2. We have over 40 students signed up for the MSBOA Solo and Ensemble festival this year. We are looking forward to hearing them perform at a recital on Monday, February 22 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.

Welcome to 2021!

 Hello band and orchestra students and parents,

I am so looking forward to making music with you again this week!

Here are a couple quick reminders.

1. Don't forget to bring your instrument and music to school tomorrow. :)

2. We will be recording our Christmas songs on Friday during class. We will not be wearing uniforms for this recording. We want to record this so that we can cap our work on these songs and so that we can share them with family and friends.

3. The Symphonic Orchestra will be recording before school in our normal symphonic orchestra time on Friday. We will need the whole orchestra at school by 7:00 a.m. on Friday.

4. We will also wrap up solo and ensemble festival details for anyone still considering this.
