We have an orchestra concert on Saturday and are nearing May. Here is sneak peak at what is coming!
1. We need your help this Saturday with the orchestra/choir concert. Please sign up here to help with offering and/or handing out programs.

2. We are looking forward to our combined choir and orchestra performance of Handel's Messiah on Saturday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. at Hope College's Dimnent Chapel. All students should arrive at Dimnent Chapel by 6:30 p.m.
3. The orchestra will be rehearsing at Dimnent Chapel on Friday, April 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. We will be taking a bus to this rehearsal and then back to HCHS. Parents, if you would like your child to drive to this rehearsal please send me an email indicating this.
4. Band students, in order to prepare for Tulip Time and Memorial Day (concert band and symphonic band march together for both of these) We will need these four extra practices. Check out details and tips for marching practice here. Students should be at school by 7:10 a.m. and will be marching at 7:15 a.m.

5. Sign up for summer lessons here! Summer is a great time to improve your musical skills! There are so many details and instrument specific things that we can cover in summer lessons that are tricky to get to in a full band or orchestra setting. We can also help you prepare for solo and ensemble festival or scholarship auditions or learn a new instrument!

You are invited to join the Holland Christian School Orchestras in the Jack H. Miller Center for the Musical Arts on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. See the wonderful progression from 4th to high school orchestras, a beautiful picture of education at Holland Christian.
